Description
Dubai-inspired dessert layered with fresh strawberries, melted chocolate, crunchy kataifi, and rich pistachio cream.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries halved or quartered
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 cup kataifi shredded pastry dough chopped
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ cup pistachio butter or pistachio cream
1 tablespoon tahini optional
Instructions
1. Chop kataifi into small pieces
2. Melt butter in skillet and toast kataifi until golden
3. Remove from heat and stir in pistachio cream and tahini
4. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth
5. Layer strawberries into dessert cups
6. Drizzle melted chocolate over strawberries
7. Spoon pistachio kataifi mixture on top
8. Repeat layers and finish with chocolate drizzle
Notes
Toast kataifi slowly for even browning
