Description

Dandelion Green Quiche features tender dandelion greens, creamy eggs, and a flaky crust for a fresh, savory meal perfect for brunch or lunch.


Ingredients

1 9-inch store-bought or homemade pie crust

2 cups dandelion greens, washed and chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, diced

4 large eggs

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

½ cup shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare pie crust

2. Sauté onion in olive oil 3–4 minutes

3. Add dandelion greens and cook 2–3 minutes

4. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg

5. Spread greens and onions in pie crust and sprinkle cheese

6. Pour egg mixture over greens and cheese

7. Bake 35–40 minutes until set and lightly golden

8. Cool 10 minutes before slicing
