Description

Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta is a quick and indulgent dish with tender shrimp, fettuccine noodles, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce.


Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; reserve ½ cup pasta water.

2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in skillet; cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side; remove.

4. Melt butter in skillet; sauté garlic 1–2 minutes.

5. Pour in heavy cream; bring to simmer.

6. Stir in Parmesan cheese; cook until thickened 3–4 minutes.

7. Season sauce with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.

8. Add cooked fettuccine to sauce; toss to coat; loosen with pasta water if needed.

9. Return shrimp to skillet; toss gently.

10. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh or thawed shrimp for best results.
