Ingredients
12 ounces penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Fresh parsley, optional
Instructions
1. Cook penne pasta and reserve pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil and sauté garlic.
3. Add cream, milk, and seasonings; simmer.
4. Stir in parmesan until smooth.
5. Add pasta and toss to coat.
6. Adjust consistency with pasta water.
7. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan.
Add vegetables or protein if desired.
Reheat gently with extra milk.
Best served fresh.
