Ingredients
2 cups fresh or frozen peas
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder optional
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
1. Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
2. Add peas and stir to coat in the butter.
3. Pour in heavy cream and stir until peas are coated.
4. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
5. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until tender and creamy.
6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley.
7. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use frozen peas for faster preparation.
Add nutmeg, mint, or parmesan for flavor variations.
Reheat gently on stove for leftovers.
