Description

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment.

2. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

3. Add sugar and beat until creamy.

4. Mix in egg and vanilla.

5. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

6. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture.

7. Chill dough for 30 minutes.

8. Scoop onto baking sheet.

9. Bake 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.

10. Cool on rack before serving.

Notes

Chill dough for best texture. Freeze dough balls for up to 3 months.
