These Cranberry Cobblers are sweet, tart, and perfectly cozy. Fresh or frozen cranberries are baked under a golden, buttery topping for an easy, elegant dessert that’s perfect for holidays or any cozy occasion.
Ingredients
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 cup orange juice
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish or ramekins.
2. Mix cranberries with sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, vanilla, and orange juice; pour into dish.
3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt for topping; cut in cold butter, then add milk and vanilla.
4. Drop topping over cranberry mixture.
5. Bake 35-40 minutes until topping is golden and berries are bubbly.
6. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving; serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
Notes
Best served fresh. Can refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days. Assemble unbaked cobblers for up to 24 hours before baking. Add nuts or citrus zest for extra flavor.
