Description
Cranberry Brie Bites are an easy holiday appetizer made with puff pastry, creamy brie cheese, and cranberry sauce.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz brie cheese, rind on
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line with parchment squares.
2. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 2-inch squares (about 24 pieces).
3. Press puff pastry squares into the wells of the mini muffin tin, gently forming cups.
4. Cut the brie into small cubes and place one piece into each pastry cup.
5. Top each with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
6. Brush pastry edges with beaten egg for a golden finish.
7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden.
8. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary, if desired, and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the bites ahead of time and bake just before serving.
Try adding chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.
A drizzle of honey on top before serving adds a sweet finishing touch.
