Description

This silky Italian Panna Cotta is a no-bake dessert with a smooth, creamy texture — the perfect make-ahead treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups heavy cream

½ cup whole milk

¼ cup granulated sugar

1½ teaspoons unflavored gelatin

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Fresh berries or fruit sauce, for topping

Instructions

1. Bloom gelatin in milk for 5 minutes.

2. Heat cream, sugar, and salt until sugar dissolves.

3. Stir in bloomed gelatin until dissolved, then add vanilla.

4. Pour into ramekins and refrigerate for 4 hours.

5. Serve with berries or fruit sauce.

Notes

Use vanilla bean paste for a stronger flavor.

For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk.

Do not freeze panna cotta as it alters texture.
