Description
Classic Caprese salad with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil, and balsamic glaze. A refreshing and elegant Italian dish.
Ingredients
4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
12 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Arrange tomato slices on serving platter
2. Place mozzarella slices between tomato slices
3. Add basil leaves between layers
4. Drizzle olive oil evenly over salad
5. Drizzle balsamic glaze across top
6. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper
7. Serve immediately
