Description

Classic Blondies with a rich, chewy texture, loaded with chocolate chips and optional nuts. Perfect dessert for parties, snacks, or sweet treats.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.

3. Gradually fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until fully incorporated.

4. Fold in chocolate chips and optional nuts for extra texture and flavor.

5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

6. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares or bars. Serve and enjoy!
