Description

Baked Citrus Herb Salmon is a quick, juicy, and flavorful dish infused with bright citrus and aromatic herbs. Perfect for weeknights or special dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh orange juice

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried thyme or 2 tsp fresh, chopped

1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 2 tsp fresh, chopped

Lemon slices for garnish

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable.

4. Brush the citrus-herb mixture generously over the salmon.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

6. Remove from oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

Swap orange juice for lime or grapefruit for a different citrus twist.

Use fresh herbs whenever possible for brighter flavor.

Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup to the glaze for subtle sweetness.

Pair with roasted vegetables, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.

For extra flavor, marinate salmon for 15–30 minutes before baking.
