Description

Ingredients

2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup creamy peanut butter

8 oz cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon butter (optional, for shine)

Crushed peanuts, chocolate curls, or extra whipped cream (for garnish)


Instructions

1. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until evenly coated. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2. In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

3. Fold in whipped topping until light and creamy.

4. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly into the chilled crust and smooth the top.

5. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Add butter for extra shine if desired.

6. Pour ganache over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.

7. Chill the pie for at least 3 hours or until firm.

8. Before serving, top with crushed peanuts, chocolate curls, or whipped cream.

Notes

Store the pie in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

For longer storage, wrap tightly and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight before serving.

For extra crunch, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
