Description
Chocolate Covered Strawberries are quick, elegant treats perfect for dessert, gifts, or special occasions. Juicy strawberries coated in rich, smooth chocolate make a simple yet luxurious snack.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
8 ounces semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
Optional toppings: chopped nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, or white chocolate drizzle
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating about 3/4 of the berry.
4. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Optional: sprinkle toppings over the chocolate before it sets.
6. Repeat with remaining strawberries.
7. Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes until chocolate is set.
8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and smooth texture.
Make a marble effect by drizzling white chocolate over dark chocolate.
For a healthier option, use dark chocolate with a higher cocoa content.
Keep strawberries dry; moisture will prevent chocolate from sticking properly.
