Description
These Decadent Chocolate Caramel Apple Slices are sweet, crunchy, and irresistible. Crisp apple wedges coated in rich caramel and drizzled with chocolate make a perfect treat for fall gatherings or dessert tables.
Ingredients
3 large apples (any sweet variety), cored and sliced into wedges
1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted
1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Parchment paper for cooling
Instructions
1. Wash, core, and slice apples into 1/2-inch thick wedges. Pat dry to remove moisture.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for cooling.
3. Heat caramel sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth and pourable.
4. Dip each apple slice into the caramel, letting excess drip back into the saucepan.
5. Immediately sprinkle with nuts, drizzle melted chocolate over the top, and add sea salt if desired.
6. Place dipped slices on parchment paper and refrigerate 20–30 minutes until caramel is firm.
7. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
Use dark, milk, or white chocolate for drizzling.
Pear or banana slices can be used instead of apples.
Cut apples smaller for bite-sized mini treats.
Create decorative chocolate swirls using a fork or piping bag.
Refrigerate in a single layer for 1–2 days for best texture.
