Description

Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a creamy pasta dish made with tender chicken, fettuccine, and rich Parmesan Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

Scale

12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 chicken breasts sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 garlic cloves minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

2. Heat olive oil in skillet.

3. Season chicken with salt and pepper.

4. Cook chicken 5 to 7 minutes until golden.

5. Remove chicken from skillet.

6. Melt butter in same skillet.

7. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

8. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.

9. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

10. Add pasta and chicken and toss to coat.

11. Cook 1 to 2 minutes and serve.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best sauce.

Add broccoli or peas for vegetables.

Substitute shrimp for chicken if desired.

Add red pepper flakes for heat.

Use penne or linguine if fettuccine is unavailable.
