Description

Moist Cherry Almond Bread with tender cherries and a soft almond crumb. A simple, flavorful quick bread perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

All-purpose flour

Granulated sugar

Baking powder

Salt

Eggs

Milk

Melted butter

Almond extract

Fresh or frozen cherries, chopped

Sliced almonds


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.

3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and almond extract.

4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. Fold in chopped cherries and pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.

6. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.

7. Bake 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen cherries. If frozen, do not thaw to avoid extra moisture.

Add a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.
