Description

Celebrate fall with Candy Corn Rice Krispies: a no-bake, colorful twist on the classic treat. These chewy bars combine marshmallow, buttery cereal, and candy corn for a festive snack that comes together in minutes. They work great for Halloween parties, classroom treats, or seasonal gift bags.

Ingredients

Scale

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 package (10 ounces) mini marshmallows

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup candy corn

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for drizzle)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for melting chocolate)

Optional: Halloween sprinkles or colored sugar for garnish

Instructions

1. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly.

2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.

3. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.

4. Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

5. Fold Rice Krispies cereal into the marshmallow mixture until evenly coated.

6. Let mixture cool 1 minute to prevent candy corn from melting.

7. Gently fold in candy corn pieces to distribute evenly.

8. Transfer mixture to prepared pan and press down gently with a buttered spatula or wax paper.

9. Melt white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 20-second microwave bursts, stirring until smooth.

10. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top and add sprinkles if desired.

11. Let bars cool at room temperature about 30 minutes until set.

12. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

Do not press the mixture too firmly or bars will become dense.

Add a teaspoon of orange or yellow food coloring to a portion of the mixture for a layered candy-corn look.

Wrap bars individually for party favors; store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Freeze individually wrapped bars for up to 1 month; thaw before serving.
