Description
Soft banana oatmeal bars made with ripe bananas and rolled oats. Naturally sweet, easy to bake, and perfect for snacks or breakfast.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 large egg
2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking pan.
2. Mash bananas in a bowl.
3. Add milk, honey, egg, butter, and vanilla; mix well.
4. Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Spread batter into prepared pan.
6. Bake 25–30 minutes until set.
7. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas.
Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
Chill before slicing for clean cuts.
Freeze for long-term storage.
