Description

Creamy Avocado Deviled Eggs made with fresh avocado, lime juice, and optional mayonnaise for a healthy and colorful appetizer.


Ingredients

1 ripe avocado

2 teaspoons lime juice

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Paprika for garnish

Fresh chives or cilantro (optional)


Instructions

1. Boil eggs for 10-12 minutes

2. Cool eggs in ice water and peel

3. Slice eggs and remove yolks

4. Mash yolks with avocado, lime juice, mustard, and mayonnaise

5. Season with salt and pepper

6. Fill egg whites with mixture

7. Garnish with paprika and herbs

8. Chill before serving
