Description
Asparagus Tart is a flaky puff pastry tart filled with creamy cheese and topped with tender roasted asparagus.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry
1 bunch asparagus
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup ricotta cheese
½ cup mozzarella cheese
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 clove garlic
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F
2. Roll out puff pastry and score border
3. Mix cheeses, egg, lemon zest, and garlic
4. Spread filling inside border
5. Toss asparagus with oil, salt, and pepper
6. Arrange asparagus over filling
7. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden
8. Cool slightly and slice
